As system cleaners and optimizers for Android devices, a significant number of users download these applications without questioning their safety, with the introduction of applications from the Google Play Store on Facebook.

Applications do not deliver on the promises made in the advertisement, in fact, they cause advertisements to be displayed on the victims' device for long periods of time.

These downloaded applications are stored on the victim's device, as seen in the images below, by changing the shape and icon (settings, play store, etc.) in order to perform unintended actions.

Adware applications abuse the “Contact Provider” feature of Android devices, causing data transfer between the device and the “Online Service”.

When researchers at McAfee investigated Adware applications in more detail, they noticed that the applications automatically started themselves even though users did not interact after installation.

The first action of the apps in question is to create a permanent service for displaying ads. If the process is terminated as shown below, it will restart immediately.
