In this session, we discussed the reasons for the penalties of 1.950.000 TL given to WhatsApp by the KVK Board in Turkey and 225 Million Euros imposed by the Irish Data Authority within the scope of GDPR.

We also touched upon the insights of the WhatsApp CEO's comments on the exploit kit designed by Apple for children, the precautions that companies should take to avoid administrative fines, the consequences of not paying enough attention to technical measures, and data transfer abroad.
