As it is known, the dates required to be registered in the Data Controllers Registry (Registry) of natural and legal persons processing personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Law (Law) No. 6698 have been announced by the Personal Data Protection Board (Board).

According to the 2019 data obtained by our Agency from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, although the annual number of employees is more than 50 or the annual financial balance sheet total is more than 25 million TL, as of 01.10. It has been determined that there are data controllers who do not complete their notification even though they have applied.

Based on this determination, the Board decided to notify the relevant data controller. After the notification, VERBIS registration will be mandatory within the allotted time.
