Cyber security researchers have identified a security vulnerability in Microsoft Teams, a conferencing and remote working platform.
It has been determined that it is possible to steal sensitive data obtained by cyber attackers and to access the existing communications of the victim user in Microsoft Teams. The identified vulnerability; It is known to cause users to access their e-mails, steal Microsoft Teams messages and OneDrive files, as well as send e-mails and messages on behalf of users.
Cyber security researchers warned users about this issue. It was discovered by Evan Grant, a personnel research engineer at Tenable, who detailed the vulnerability in a blog post he published on June 15.
