After the data breach of 500 million LinkedIn users last April, another data leak has emerged.
Known as the world's largest business-based social media platform, LinkedIn seems to have experienced the biggest data breach in its history. It is known that a data leak occurred by a cyber attacker, when the data of users was put up for sale. The cyber security company RestorePrivacy believes that this leak, which affected 700 million users, was caused by a previous vulnerability in LinkedIn.
A statement is expected from LinkedIn regarding the data breach in question.
Among the leaked data of around 700 million users;
- E-mail address
- First and last name
- Telephone number
- Address info
- Geolocation data
- CVs are known to exist.
